Last friday the Royals hosted the Normans of Beverly Hills and came away with a colossal 49-14 win. With another victory under their belts, the Royals are now 3-0, and remain undefeated with more wins than the last two years combined.
Wesley Ghan-Gibson hit Coop Pugh with a 50-yard touchdown pass on their first possession, and from there the momentum stayed with the Royals.
“Our team played as a unit and a family,” said Pugh. “We all do what we can for the good of the team and in this game we showed what we can do when we work together.”
San Marcos led at the end of the first half with a score of 42-6.
Next week, the San Marcos football team will host Hueneme. Make sure to come out and support your team, as the gridiron Royals seek to create San Marcos history.
