Do you have a younger sibling or cousin? Do you like candy? If so, you should come to Girsh Park on April 19th to celebrate Easter with fun-filled activities. The park will be full of free things for you and your family to enjoy; arts and crafts, face painting, jumpers, and lunch along with Girsh Park’s all famous and eventful Easter Egg hunt.
The hunt will take place on six different age based fields, and includes 10,000 hidden colorful eggs, filled with all kinds of prizes. Not to mention a few gold eggs that will have special prizes inside. Although the event is held at Girsh Park, the celebration is made possible with contributions from many companies; Luna’s Jumps, Santa Barbara Bank and Trust, Goleta Rotary Clubs and AMS Entertainment.
Freshman Jane Lubach tells how she and her sister used to go to the park to enjoy their Easter. “My family and I would always have something to look forward to when Easter came around. We would go over to Girsh and partake in the activities there. My favorite thing to do there was look for the hidden eggs with my sister,” said Jane.
So if you’re hunting for a fun way to kick off your Easter, then hop over to Girsh Park on Saturday April 19th. Registration begins at 9:30 AM and the hunt will begin promptly at 11 AM.
