“I always knew that I wanted to go north,” said Adilene. “Los Angeles and the Southern California area was too familiar to me, so I went to visit colleges up north. When I visited San Jose State, I found that they had a strong team feel, which is very important to me.”
These young athletes were surrounded by proud friends, family, and staff members, who were there to support them in their big event.
“I am very excited for these students as they go on to play athletics in college,” said principal Ed Behrens. “I am very proud of this group. Not only are they good athletes, they are also good scholars and are a good representation of San Marcos High School.”
Congratulations to these seven athletes as they take a large step in their athletic careers, San Marcos is very proud of them!
