Oct. 17th: Santa Barbara 100: The Santa Barbara 100 is an annual cycling event that stretches over Santa Barbara and offers three different courses to suit everyone’s capability. The location is Leadbetter Beach and a packet pickup time is Friday, October 16th from 4-7 on 402 Ortega Street. The event will start at 10am on October 17th.
Oct. 17th: Tim Flannery and The Lunatic Fringe, Angela Easterling and Brandon Turner: The Lobero theater is hosting Angela Easterling, a three-time Kerrville New Folk Finalist, a Telluride Troubadour Finalist and a two-time Wildflower Performing Songwriter Finalist, at 8pm and the feel good music artist, Tim Flannery. Oct. 24: Santa Barbara Open Streets: Cabrillo Blvd will be shut down from traffic for 2 miles because of this street festival that will be celebrating people power and promoting better health, flexibility, and fun. It will be hosted from 10am-4pm.

Oct. 31st- Nov. 1st: Bead Elements and Design Show: The Bead Elements and Design Show features artists, artisans, and merchants, offering their latest designs of beads, jewelry, clothing, accessories, and textiles. There will be lapidary art, fashion design, millinery, polymer clay, weaving, glass making, interior décor, artistic beads, hand-dyed silk, jewelry, ceramics, leather, wood, metal, gold & silver, and fine pearls. This event is going on until November 1st, occurring from 10am to 6pm each day. The location is The Fess Parker Hotel located on Cabrillo Blvd.
