Do you like listening to music that makes you want to dance? The new Coldplay Album, Head Full of Dreams, does just that. The best way to describe the album is that it makes you want to get up and dance. After only listening to the songs for a couple of times, all you will want to do is jump out of your chair and start dancing, at least that is what I did. What differentiates Coldplay from all of the other musicians in the music industry is that they write albums with a unique meaning about life. Coldplay writes about various positive events in life.

Coldplay is a British pop band that was formed in 1996, when they were in college, at the University College of London. The members: are, Chris Martin, lead singer, Jonny Buckland, lead guitarist, Will Champion, drummer, and Guy Barryman, bassist. After forming the band and writing a handful of songs. Coldplay quickly gained worldwide fame in 2000 for their single release, “Yellow”. Ever since they received a taste of success in the music industry, they kept on producing award winning songs and albums. Coldplay has been on many tours and even performed at the 2016 Super Bowl. Over the years, Coldplay has released many top hit songs with well known artists such as Rihanna, Tove Lo, Beyoncé, and Jay Z. Most of their songs collaborations are in their new album, Head Full of Dreams. As of now, Coldplay has won 62 awards, been nominated 206 times, released 7 albums, and have released 40 singles.

Head Full of Dreams consists of eleven well written songs and includes a co-written song with Beyoncé, Noel Gallagher, Tove Lo, Khatia Buniatishvili, and Merry Clayton.

“Hymn for the Weekend, by Coldplay, is about finding the ability to do awesome things together with someone whose impact on your life verges on the angelic,” said writer of the article, Clifford Stumme.

The album received worldwide attention after it was released in early December. The album reached number one in the UK and number two in the US, Australia, Canada, Italy, and the Netherlands. The album’s popularity was even placed above Adele’s new album, 25.

Head Full of Dreams is yet another one of Coldplay’s most successful albums that draws worldwide attention. Not only does the album express a positive outlook on life, but it also has a danceable beat to it. I know Head Full of Dreams is definitely worth listening to.
