The first pet in our spotlight is junior Lily Arconti’s white-faced cockatiel named Ollie. Some things Ollie loves to do is sing and mimic the door creaking.

“He can also be super sweet and cuddly but then he can also be a little brat, but I love him!!”

Senior Andria Chandler’s black lab retriever, Pepper, is just as adorable as Ollie.

“Pepper is the sweetest companion [and] play time partner. [She] loves the beach, walks, and playing fetch with her ball!”

Junior Mariana Cardenas’s dashing husky Kovu is incredibly cute as well, especially with their little bow tie.

Senior Citlali Avila Avalo’s two year old Husky, Luna, is also a beautiful doggo. Just look at those radiant eyes.

Pepper seems to be a popular dog, name seeing as Sophomore Luzelena Cortes also chose that name for her precious pitsky, a half pit bull half husky. Pepper also happens to be very clumsy and energetic as well as super cute.

Junior Tru Wyatt’s Boxer, lab, pitbull mix is another sweet dog in this spotlight.

“He’s a cuddler, loves to chase sticks, [and] also loves to sing.”

Senior Shana Friedenberg and her charming Cavapoo, a King Charles Cavalier and Poodle mix, Bijou have been best friends for 7 years.

“[She] is an absolute queen in our household!”

The first cat of this spotlight is freshman Lucia Nowak’s, who is named Troy.

“He has been with me for 10 years and I can’t be more grateful, he is also a weatherman.”

Spanish teacher, Ms. Heenan also offered up her own dashing dog, Bopper, a chihuahua, beagle, terrier mix, to be featured.

“¡A Señor Bopper le encantan los Royals!”(Mr. Bopper loves the Royals!)

And now for my darling little pupper, Daphne. She is the most precious pug and I love her so much. For those of you who know me, you can probably guess that the whole point of this spotlight was to get Daphne in the paper.

All of these pets are absolutely amazing and so very precious. For those of you who participated, thanks for sharing your utterly adorable pets!
