Attention all Marvel Fans on March 19th, we will finally be getting The Falcon and the Winter Soldier on Disney Plus. Since, WandaVision released exclusively on January 15th and was the first project of Phase Four for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Fans have been anticipating all the new content we will be getting this year.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie who plays Sam Wilson/The Falcon and Sebastian Stan who plays Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is set after the events of Avengers: Endgame and Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes team up on a wild thriller adventure to take down an old enemy, Baron Zemo. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is set to have a total of six episodes and be at least 50 to 60 minutes long.

Marvel Studios is known for giving their fans a jam-packed action adventure with their characters and leaving some unanswered questions. With Marvel Studios releasing a couple of shows this year, us fans really do not know what to expect from them. I know as a fan of Marvel, we all loved WandaVision because they took a totally different approach from the movies. So we have some high expectations where The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will take us.

In a recent interview with Variety, Anthony Mackie talked about being a little frightened of doing a television series of The Falcon and seeing whether it would be good or not. “I didn’t think we could do on the television what we’d been doing on the big screen,” said actor Anthony Mackie. “I didn’t want to be the face of the first Marvel franchise to fail. That was a huge fear of mine, and also a huge responsibility with playing a Marvel character.”

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Sebastian Stan talked about how you see his character Bucky Barnes try to evolve to a new world without his friend, Steve Rogers. “How does that guy function in 2021, in the times of today?” said actor Sebastian Stan. “And there’s comedic parts: How does he deal with technology? Is this guy ordering Postmates at home?”

As a very big Marvel fan, I am very excited to see The Falcon and the Winter Soldier because after watching WandaVision and seeing how Marvel Studios did a fantastic job on it, I hope The Falcon and the Winter Soldier also turns out to be a really good show. So mark your calendars on March 19th, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will exclusively be on Disney Plus.
