Breakfast cereals are a morning delicacy that starts the day on a good note. When walking down the aisle, there are numerous boxes of cereal that display vibrant colors and amusing graphics. There are so many different variations of cereal, some healthy, while others are sugary and tasty. But despite all that, which brand of cereal is the best?

To break it down, I’m going to judge my favorite cereals based on taste. Although breakfast is considered the most important meal of the day, you don’t want to start your morning with cereal that tastes like cardboard. I also took into consideration whether or not the cereal gets soggy immediately when you add milk. Or, if that brand of cereal is something that you could eat on a consistent basis. With that being said, let’s start off  my top 4.

At number four on my list, I have Honey Bunches of Oats. This cereal is so underrated. It is an all-time favorite cereal for everyone in my family. Coupled with that, the taste is great. It is well sweetened and has a nutty crunch paired with a flakey texture. It also doesn’t get too soggy. In short, this cereal is awesome!!

At number three on my list, I have Frosted Flakes. This cereal is another pantry staple, and tastes amazing!! The sweetness of the cereal mixed with the milk makes a perfect combo. The textures are great too. The crunchiness along with the flakey tone makes for a satisfying meal. Paired with that, this cereal doesn’t get too soggy too quickly. Overall, I really like this product. 

At number two on my list, I have to put Cinnamon Toast Crunch. This cereal is scrumptious. The cinnamon and the sugar tastes amazing and the crunch lasts throughout an entire bowl. Along with that, the texture is perfect. It doesn’t get soggy too fast. The sweet and cinnamon flavor is nicely complimented by the milk. This cereal is delicious and stands up to other big time brands. I buy this every month. 

At number one on my list, Cap’n Crunch takes the crown!! This cereal is my favorite cereal hands down! You just can’t go wrong.  It has the perfect blend of sweet and savory. When mixed with milk, it’s even better. It doesn’t get too soggy and certainly leaves me feeling satisfied after a few servings. Cap’n Crunch is a staple cereal and should be in every pantry.  I love this product and I would definitely recommend it to others.
