Fans of Marvel, we have received some news of a new Marvel show hitting Disney+ this summer. Recently, Marvel’s Moon Knight, which stars Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke, who made their debut back in March and has been getting a lot of great reviews. On June 8th, Ms. Marvel will be making her on screen debut! 

Ms. Marvel will star Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel and Matt Lintz who plays Kamala’s best friend, Bruno Carrelli. Ms. Marvel will follow sixteen-year old Kamala growing up in New Jersey. Kamala is a really big fan of the Avengers, especially Captain Marvel, but she struggles to find her place in the world. That is until she suddenly receives super powers just like her hero’s and it is up to her to become the person she was destined to be. 

Ms. Marvel will tie into the film, The Marvels, which will come out in the spring of 2023. The Marvels will star Brie Larson who returns as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel. And it will also star Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, who made their debut in Marvel’s WandaVision. We do not have a lot of intel about this film but we do know that The Marvels wrapped up filming back in February and will be doing reshoots at the end of this year. So expect a trailer dropping at the end of this year (fingers crossed). 

I, for one really excited to see this show because it seems like a funny coming of age story and will be really interesting meeting a new character. I would really like to see what the future of Ms. Marvel holds in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Make sure to mark your calendars for June 8th when Ms. Marvel exclusively hits Disney+.

Before Ms. Marvel airs on Disney+, currently Moon Knight has had 5 episodes and the finale will premiere on May 4th. So let us recap a bit, Moon Knight happened after the events of Hawkeye and deals with mystic gods from ancient Egypt. Steven Grant who has this entity in him tries to prevent a god from being risen back from the dead. Things get difficult when Steven and Marc Spector can not get along with each other and fall into uncertain situations. Moon Knight is a show that will give you a bunch of surprises that you are not expecting but I really recommend you watch this show. 

Now on May 6th, the premiere of Doctor Strange Into the Multiverse of Madness will finally hit theaters. This will be Marvel’s first film of the year and it is expected to make over 200 million dollars. Doctor Strange Into the Multiverse of Madness is about how Stephan Strange opened up the multiverse and has to come with terms of what is to come. He then seeks out the Scarlet Witch for help and the two embark on a multiversal journey of unexpected twists and turns. This seems like a good lineup of Marvel films and shows for this spring, and summer will bring us even more big surprises.
