With the beginning of the fall season comes a wide selection of delicious, seasonal treats. One of my favorite baked goods to make during autumn is pumpkin chocolate chip bread. This bread is not only extremely delicious, but epitomizes the taste of autumn. The combination of the earthy, sweet pumpkin flavor and the rich chocolate chips blends exceptionally well and more than satisfies the stomach. For spice lovers, it has a mildly, spicy kick delicately infused by the nutmeg but not enough to leave the mouth on fire.
The best part about pumpkin chocolate chip bread is there is no designated time to eat it. Want a yummy breakfast? Done. Craving a nice dessert after dinner? Done. Looking for a snack at any point of the day? You’ve got it, this bread is the solution for you. Embrace the fall flavors and your friends and family will embrace you when this scent comes wafting from your kitchen.
