As the scent of cinnamon begins to depart the air and the scent of pine and gingerbread begins to roll in, we now know for sure, the holiday season is now upon us. The sight of colorful Christmas lights twinkling from door to door. Watching as the nearby cars drive along with a newly picked Christmas tree securely strapped down to the roof. The sensation of returning back inside and looking into a mirror just to see your rosy red cheeks and nose have been kissed by the cold. The feeling of getting wrapped up in a blanket with your loved ones while sipping on a piping hot mug full of hot cocoa next to a plate of sugar cookies while the first Christmas movie of the holiday season finally begins.
Surprisingly there are many different genres of Christmas movies. From action-packed thriller movies, rom-coms, heartfelt and sad movies, dramatic movies, and slightly creepy movies. All of these incredibly complex genres make for the best holiday movie-watching experience. Each and every one of them makes it so you can either have a laugh, a cry, or a heartfelt afternoon, depending on however you feel, or puts you more in the Christmas cheer.
