Prom is Coming!

Prom+is+Coming%21

Senior Prom this year takes place on Monday, May 31st. On the night of Prom you need to show the school a valid negative COVID-19 test that has to be taken on May 27th or May 28. If vaccinated or planning on it you must be fully vaccinated, or have your one shot by Monday, May 17th.Tickets are available in school at the business office, or online. Keep in mind that you are really only buying a ticket for yourself since there are no off campus guests this year. Once you have followed the safety precautions it’s a go! This night is something you will not want to miss.

“We are going to have lots of different activities at Prom! There’s going to be silent disco, food trucks, casino games, and a gaming wall. Said ASB President Senior Kaylene King It’s not going to be a traditional prom but I know it’s going to be way more fun.”

It takes a lot of time and energy to plan a Prom to ensure everyone will have a good time, I know it is a lot of stress for ASB but in the end it is worth it for everyone. If you are in need of a dress and have little time, thrifting, or borrowing is the perfect idea!

“ Unfortunately it won’t be a traditional type of prom since we can’t have students gathering like that.” Said Senior Class President Andrea Lising. “It’ll still be really fun with a series of activities such as, photo booths, karaoke bars, video games, carnival type games, food trucks, and other things to keep people moving and spread out… I am super excited that we are having an actual school prom this year since our class absolutely deserves it!”

If you have any more questions, Seniors I recommend checking your Student Square. Make sure you remember your tickets, a negative covid test or proof of vaccine, an outfit, a date, and a camera to capture your memories on! I hope Seniors enjoy their super fun night!
