Candy Reviews

As Halloween grows closer there are many things to look forward to. One thing that many people, especially kids, can’t wait for is trick or treating. Everyone loves getting candy while trick or treating but which candies are the best?

While there are many great candies given out on Halloween, Reese’s is a candy that many people really enjoy. Mixing peanut butter and chocolate is always a good combination. “Reese’s peanut butter cups are one of my favorites,” said Junior Jack Cunnison. “They are mouth wateringly delicious.” Kit Kat’s are another favorite among trick or treaters, the wafer covered in chocolate delivers a delightful crunch when you take a bite. I remember always wanting to get as many Kit Kat’s as possible as a child on Halloween.

A more underrated candy is the Milky Way. A Milky Way contains nougat, caramel and chocolate, an amazing combo that is one of my personal favorites. “They are super underrated,” adds Jack Cunnison, “I don’t know why people aren’t considering it as a great candy.” Another candy some consider underrated is Crunch. Personally I think crunch is properly rated as the texture is a little too much for me and the taste doesn’t make up for it.

M&M’s are another candy everyone agrees is a classic, but which type of M&M’s is the best? The original is a classic and you can never go wrong with it. Peanut is also a good version but I don’t think there is enough chocolate with the peanut center. In my opinion the peanut butter M&M’s are the best. Maybe I’m just a big peanut butter guy but the mixture of crunch, chocolate and peanut butter is just so good.

At the end of the day there are so many good choices of candy to go for on Halloween, so why limit yourself to only going for one! Try everything! Although there are some that are better than others, you will not know your preferences until you try for yourself.
