Preheat the oven to 350º and line two baking sheets with parchment. In a large bowl using a hand mixer, cream together butter and both sugars until light and fluffy for three to four minutes. Beat in egg and vanilla until combined.

In another large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt until combined. Add dry ingredients to wet and mix until just combined.

Gently fold in most of the potato chips, pretzels, chocolate chips, and sprinkles. Now Using a medium cookie scoop, scoop balls of dough (about two tablespoons each) onto prepared baking sheets. Press down lightly on each cookie to flatten, then press remaining potato chips, pretzels, chocolate chips, and sprinkles on top. Sprinkle it with flaky salt.

Bake until the edges are just starting to get golden, 14 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool for two to three minutes, then transfer to the cooling rack to cool completely. Then enjoy!

Ingredients

1 ½ Sticks of softened butter

¾ cups of brown sugar

⅔ cups of molasses

1 large egg

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

3 ¼ all purpose flour

1 tbsp ground ginger

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp ground cinnamon

½ tsp ground cloves

¼ tsp ground nutmeg

½ tsp kosher salt

Sugar cookie icing and sprinkles for decorating

Directions

In a large bowl using a hand mixer, beat butter, brown sugar, and molasses until fluffy, about 2 minutes. Add egg and vanilla and beat until combined. In a medium bowl, whisk flour, spices, baking soda, and salt until combined. With the mixer on low, gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients until dough just comes together.

Divide dough in half and create two discs. Wrap each in plastic wrap and chill until firm, about two to three hours. (Alternatively, divide dough in half and roll each piece of dough between two pieces of parchment to 1/4″ thick. Chill until firm.)

Preheat the oven to 350° and line two large baking sheets with parchment paper. Place one disc of dough on a lightly floured surface and roll until 1/4″ thick. (Alternatively, peel off both sheets of parchment from the dough, then replace one sheet of parchment back underneath the dough.) Cut out gingerbread men with a 3″ wide cutter and transfer to baking sheets.

Bake until slightly puffed and set, 9 to 10 minutes, depending on the size of your cookie cutters. Let cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely. Next decorate however you desire and enjoy!

Directions

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt and set aside.

In another large bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy and pale in color. Add egg, milk, and vanilla and beat until combined, then add flour mixture gradually until totally combined.

Shape into a disk and wrap in plastic. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

When ready to roll, preheat the oven to 350º and line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Lightly flour a clean work surface and roll out dough until 1/8” thick. Cut out shapes and transfer to prepared baking sheets. Freeze for ten minutes (so your shapes hold while baking!).

Meanwhile, make frosting: In a large bowl using a hand mixer, beat butter until smooth, then add powdered sugar and beat until no lumps remain. Add cream, almond extract, and salt and beat until combined.

Bake cookies until the edges are lightly golden, eight to ten minutes.

Now you can not only know what type of Christmas cookie you are but you can now what it tastes like too. All the recipes are Delish.com!
