Super Bowl Commercials

As Super Bowl weekend kicks off, so does the excitement to see what companies will have paid top dollar to be featured in this year’s advertisement lineup. This year will feature many major names such as Paramount, Pringles, Doritos, and many more. As well as numerous celebrity cameos from our favorite stars. Here at the King’s Page we got an early look at this year’s advertisements, and this is our starting lineup.

Teen Favorite: Doritos’ The Love Triangle

Although only fifteen seconds long, an appearance from superstar Jack Harlow elevated this article to touchdown level marketing. It was first teased with a vague social media post saying, “a bag of Doritos BBQ, paparazzi and a mysterious person walk into a bar…” Following, the brand released a video of Harlow crunching on a chip as someone questions him about “a love triangle.” A commercial as mysterious as this will undoubtedly spark intrigue among youth.

Funniest: Hellmann’s Who’s in the Fridge?

When it comes to food puns, the fridge is stocked. The advertisement features food-named actors Jon Hamm and Brie Larson trapped in a giant refrigerator. The actors are trapped inside of a refrigerator when comedian Pete Davidson opens the fridge and threatens to eat them.

Most Successful: Pop Corner’s Breaking Bad Reunion

With 16 Emmys, breaking bad is considered the greatest series of all time in many people’s eyes. So when Bryan Cranston (Walter White) and Aaron Paul (Jesse Pinkman) reunited after 10 years to create this commercial it was bound to be great. After a recent boom in popularity on Tik Tok, it will also be a hit with youth.

Most Cinematic: Pepsi’s Great Acting or Great Taste? – With Ben Stiller

Pepsi takes advantage of the publicity by purchasing two adds. The first features comedian Steve Martin. The next stars actor and comedian Ben Stiller with a Zoolander cameo.

Most Nostalgic – Rakuten’s The Extended Cher Cut

Clueless stars Alicia Silverstone as Cher and Elisa Donovan as Amber, reunited to make an ad for the e-commerce company Rakuten. Since the Movie came out in 1995 the two actors have not been nearly as active.
