San Marcos’ production of Clue is on the horizon so this is the best time to support San Marcos and it’s actors. With the very affordable price of only $5 for students with a royal card and $8 for students without, the auditorium will be packed with an audience. So Royals, let’s get our pride together and cheer for our great actors and actresses that put their time and effort into this show!
If you don’t already know, Clue is originally a board game created during World War II but wasn’t officially released until later in 1949 due to post-war shortages. Thirty-six years later, a movie adaptation of Clue was released on December 13, 1985. So now our school production of Clue can add onto the list of Clue recreations. This production of clue is special because the original movie of clue was released 36 years after the board game was officially published, while our production of clue is being performed 36 years after the original movie of clue was released.
Clue has a murder mystery style plot involving a dinner party invite where the host is murdered and it is revealed that there is a murderer amongst them and it is up to them to figure out who before they all perish.
Ben Naftali says, “I am so happy San Marcos is performing such a wonderful and suspenseful play, I will definitely be there.” I hope to see all of the San Marcos student body there. The show will take place on the 4th, 5th, 6th, 11th, 12th, and the 13th. And with that, go grab your tickets and enjoy the show. GO ROYALS!
