Upcoming At The Santa Barbara Bowl
This year’s 2023 lineup for the Santa Barbara bowl is amazing and you won’t want to miss it. Starting in April, the concert season begins with so many bands and artists going on tour. The Santa Barbara Bowl has already shared 21 different concerts for this season and they all look like they’re going to be showstopping.
Starting as soon as April 16 the shows will begin. The first show being The Chemical Brothers, an electronic music band. Later, FKJ, an earthy alternative singer playing on April 19th. Then Tyler Childers, a country singer, will be performing on April 26th with Billy Currington following May 6th. The Iconic James Taylor will be playing at the bowl on May 31st.
In June we have a lot of performances starting with Trevor Noahs, Off the Record tour taking June 2nd and 3rd. Garbage and Noel Gallagher HIgh Flying birds Tour will be coming to the Bowl on the 7th of June. As well the Heartfirst tour of Kelsea Ballerni on the 16th. July also has some big names coming into town, from Little Big town on July 15th, to Jason Mraz and his super band on the 21st. As well leading into August we have some of my favorites with Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue and Ziggy Marley on August 4th and Rebelution: good vibes summer tour on August 6th and 7th.
I asked Lilah Rodgers, junior at San Marcos what she was most excited for at the bowl and she said, “I love going to concerts, I’m most excited to see the Lumineers.”
I am also super excited to see the Lumineers! Towards the end of the shows we have gotten so far, the Bowl is presenting Young The Giant on August 18th. The Lumineers on September 12th and 13th, and Van Morrison on September 16th. Hozier will be there for two nights, on October 28th. The Bowl is still coming out with more shows all the time, you can buy tickets and look at the upcoming shows by going on to the RVC Santa Barbara Bowl’s website: sbbowl.com. Happy Concert Season!
