Victoria is in 12th grade at San Marcos High School. She has been in Journalism for three years now where she was a staff writer, lifestyle editor, and now an editor-in-chief. She enjoys cheering for San Marcos as one of three captains, and hanging out with friends on the weekend. Her favorite subjects at school are English and Journalism.

Victoria Leyva, For many seniors, April 23, 2022 was their first and last prom ever. A once in a lifetime moment is now gone forever. San Marcos’ prom took place at the Moxi, it was absolutely beautiful. San Marcos staff and asb did an amazing job at setting things up and making it as perfect as can be. Prom is Coming!

Victoria Leyva, As senior year comes to an end sadness fills the air. There are so many mixed emotions about growing up and going to college. On a more positive note, with senior year comes Prom! I feel as if everyone has waited to go to Prom their whole life. Movies and shows have shown for this event to be one you will never forget. It is a right of passage as a high schooler. Even though COVID-19 has hit really hard this year, it is still important to look on the bright side and have the best night of your life.
